Free Personalization/Lasering/Imprinting Details
Most online award businesses charge a per letter rate for engraving or lasering services. This can add a high amount of cost to your awards order. We have seen internet companies charge in excess of $25.00 for engraving an item purchased at their site.
We offer free personalization if the following conditions are met:
All personalized information is provided in electronic form, such as text file, word processing document, CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, spreadsheets, etc. These documents can be e-mailed to us as an attachment, uploaded during the order process or you may type the engraving text directly into the provided fields during the add to cart process.
As long as the engraving is provided in electronic form, we will not charge you for the engraving, lasering, or imprinting and this can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars depending upon how many items you are purchasing.
This does not apply to medals nor medallions, for which there is a $1.50 per line charge.
Free Logos * No Setup Charge
Again, most trophy stores charge a setup fee for your logo and a charge for running the logo on each item it is to be placed on. The setup fee goes to pay the time involved in preparing your image and/or artwork to be lasered.
Most people have the graphics software, or a graphics department at their company that can provide the image in the format we need it in. If the artwork is provided in 300 DPI or greater Black and White 1-Bit Line Art in a Tiff Bitmap, or in a Vector Based Art Format such as WMF, EPS, .PDF, CDR, AI, then we will make minor modifications to the artwork to prepare it for the lasering/engraving process at no charge to you.
If we must re-design, touch up artwork supplied in a non-acceptable file format, word processing document, .jpg, .gif files then there is a $55/hour graphic design charge that will be assessed, billable in 15 minute increments. We will contact you to let you know the artwork will need to be re-worked before you are charged this fee, thus providing you with the opportunity to have the artwork removed from the award, or to have your graphic design team re-work the artwork instead of our graphic designers.
Silk Screening
Silk Screening of logos are not provided free of charge. There is a setup fee to defray the costs of the screens and other hardware needed to create the final image. This setup fee only applies to the first time the screen is created. We will keep your screens on file for reorder purposes for up to 2 years. If you are re-ordering the silk screen setup charge is not assessed, however all silk screening has a per color run charge. If you have chosen to have any silk screening done to your award product, we will give you a finalized quote and price on what those charges will be at which time you can modify your order to request the free logo laser engraved, or cancel your order if you so desire.
